Dear Readers,
After many requests and much cajoling, I have started a podcast. It will focus on the Civil War and I am calling it: Civil Wargasms. You’ll notice a new tab by that name on my website homepage and from there, you can access the weekly episodes. Or you can subscribe to it via Apple Podcasts or Podomatic. And…I have also made a Facebook page and a podcast account on The Twitter.
It is not for the faint of heart or those with no sense of humor, as it will focus on some of the salacious and gory aspects of the war. This is history as it really was and not as we wished it was.

Ghosts of the Past 
I have listened to the first two episodes and enjoyed them immensely. As you know, I was also a CW and WW2 reenactor, so your comments about the difficulty in meeting women hit home. Mix that in with already being a comic and sci-fi nut and you have a recipe for being single. I remember a few years ago when I first got into reenacting, one of my friends said, “You really don’t want a woman around, do you?” Hope things are well and keep up the great work!

Thanks for listening! I met my wife in grad school and though she didn’t do re-enactments herself, she let me go and let me spend money on gear.
